The “Introduction to Makeup Artistry” course is a starting point for most who seek a career in makeup. This course prepares its graduates with the fundamentals necessary for a successful career as a makeup artist in any capacity. This is the only class needed for those that aspire to work as a cosmetic sales consultant or a freelance makeup artist with cosmetic companies. In addition to the intensive skin care and makeup application techniques covered, this course also focuses on self-confidence, sales and marketing which are essential to becoming a successful makeup artist in print, runway, TV, film or any capacity that you may desire to work.
Students with experience may take an entrance level exam to evaluate if this course may be bypassed in order to start at a more advanced level.
This 60-hour course is held Monday through Thursday.
Five hours a day, for three consecutive weeks.
