Expert Artistry Techniques

The "Expert Artistry Application Techniques Course" serves as the second step of training for most students seeking a career as a Professional Makeup Artist. The focus of this course is the "Art" and "Science" of makeup through the comprehension of "Color Theory" and "Corrective Makeup" as it applies to beauty makeup. The understanding of the concepts and application techniques in this course are prerequisite information also necessary for print work as well as character and beauty makeup for television and film.

This course will enhance and strengthen the knowledge and application skills of veteran artists as well as new artists. This intensive training gives its students the necessary skills to specialize in applying beauty makeup.

This 100-hour course is held Monday through Thursday for five hours a day, for five consecutive weeks.

• Eye Angles: Uptilt, even, downcast

• Size of eyelid: From Crease to Lash line and Crease to Brow
